Mundorf Heritage Beef cattle are born here and raised here. By breeding, calving, weaning, feeding, and caring for every animal daily and utilizing top Angus genetics we can guarantee premium, consistent quality.

Our cattle grow on grass and their mother’s milk their first summer. They are weaned and wintered on home-raised hay and corn, then fattened to harvest weights the next summer on high-quality pasture and supplemented with corn.

We use regenerative grazing practices, including interseeding for species diversity, rotational grazing, and winter cover crop grazing. Over the past two decades, we have reaped great benefits in pasture quality and soil health.

Mundorf Heritage Beef has never been treated with antibiotics. We do not allow our animals to get sick and die for lack of medical care. When necessary, we treat individual animals with injectable antibiotics. These animals are marketed through traditional routes and are disqualified from Mundorf Heritage Beef.

We vaccinate our cattle for several serious non-zoonotic diseases with vaccines proven safe for the cattle and consumers. Vaccinations are given when the cattle are young to assist them in staying healthy.

We guarantee that our cattle have never been given artificial growth hormones in their feed or by injection.

Our beef is processed at a local USDA-inspected meat processing facility. Every beef is dry aged in a cooler for 21 days before cutting. This process enhances the flavorful, marbled, tender Angus beef. Our beef is vacuum sealed and flash frozen by our processor to guarantee the best quality product for you.
